NM FTC Regional Championship Update
Hi Teams!
Some updates on the NM FTC Regional Championship.
We will be accepting video submissions for the FTC Compass and Promote awards through 6PM MST, Sunday Feb 20. The link for the submission is https://nmftc.org/compass-promote-video-submissions/
The user submitting must have the login for the team account and be logged in. The instructions are listed on the upload page as follows.
Instructions:
- Choose the “Select File” button (The File/Video must be in MP4 format and file extension end in .mp4)
2. Enter “TEAM NAME”, “TEAM NUMBER”, “Your Name”, “Your Email”, “Phone”
3. Click “Upload File” button.
4. File upload progress will be displayed (DO NOT LEAVE THIS PAGE UNTIL YOU GET A SUCCESS MESSAGE!)
Once a video is uploaded you will receive an email notification / confirmation.
If you have any problems or do not get the confirmation email, please let me know.
Judging Event Schedule:
Remote Dean’s List judging will occur on Sunday, Feb 20. If you have a student nominated, you will hear from me tomorrow (Feb 17) to schedule a time.
Initial Remote Judging for most teams will occur on Sunday, Feb 27 between 9 and 11AM. Two teams requested the two slots on Saturday afternoon. We will notify you in advance of the time for your initial interview. Follow-up interviews will be Sunday afternoon and will be scheduled on the day of the event.
Competition Event Schedule:
The in-person Robot competition will be held at Sarracino Middle School in Socorro on Saturday, March 5. We will open doors to teams at 8 AM, begin Robot inspection at 9 AM. Opening Ceremonies will be at 10 AM leading directly into competition rounds. Robot Game and Judged Awards will be announced in a closing awards ceremony at the end of the day. We are working out further details for the day including food availability and will notify you of those plans in the next week.
