FIRST Team Blast regarding Advancement Preferences
Plans are well underway for the NM FTC Regional Championship at Menaul School this Friday and Saturday! We’re looking forward to seeing you all! I’m waiting on a few final details and will have a welcome letter to you with all details in the next couple of days. We plan to open doors for teams at 5PM on Friday and will keep the pits open until 9PM.
You should all have received a Team Blast from FIRST® last Thursday about Submitting your Advancement Preferences. I’ve pasted it below in case you didn’t get it or deleted it. Please look at this and go ahead and make your advancement selections as suggested. You will only have few days after our Championship to do this and respond to an invitation, so best to plan ahead!

New this year, advancing teams have the opportunity to choose their next adventure through the Event Preferencing System, and you don’t have to wait for your Regional Championship to tell us which events you’d like to attend!
There are no automatic advancements this season.
All advancing teams (including those advancing to the FIRST® Championship) must submit event preference lists through the Event Preferencing System.

Event Preferencing occurs in five rounds. Teams are assigned to preferencing rounds based on the date of their Regional Championship.
Teams will be notified of their assigned event by the deadline of their preferencing round.
