ENIGMA – 16265

APRIL 11th-17th SCRIMMAGE

We can attribute our improvements to the following fixes/changes/upgrades from our scrimmage in March.

1. Updated all the mechanum wheel gears, motor pulley gears and belts to really tighten things up from the slippage we were experiencing last scrimmage. This shored up our ability to crab/strafe instead of the tank drive on mechanum we were doing last time.
2. Added more narrow guides to the front intake and top guards to keep the rings from going back out over the sweepers.
3. Redesigned and printed a new ring hopper for the 3 time to make for a little looser fit, and much more ridged and sturdy on the slide. Modified the shooter and intake ramps to accommodate the larger hopper.
4. Redesigned and printed new wobble goal grabbers with rubber band grips.
5. Added a wobble goal sweeper arm/ring stopper to the right front for delivering the second wobble goal in autonomous.
6. Added a dowel ring stopper with a flag to the left front.
7. Replaced a couple of servos in the wobble goal arm and gripper.
8. Repositioned the USB camera on the front to accommodate the goal sweeper arm.
9. Designed a printed a new ring hopper hood that better directs the rings into the hopper.
10. Programmed autonomous for the max points of each randomization.

For the state championship in about a week and half we need a lot more practice and keep the robot healthy.

Robot Sneak Peek

ENGIMA 16265 is proud to show a sneak peek of our 2020-2021 FTC Game Changers Robot.

His name is Huubreshter (said with a German accent).

This year we vetted our mechanisms through a lot of trial and error we came up with winners for each and our crazy cadder (The Laser) put it all in Fusion 360.

Final scores all completed between 1pm and 2:30 pm March 19th: 134-159-152-159-144-107

We had so many break fixes and battery issues all week even a major breakdown with our wobble goal arm just before running our matches.

We are excited to improve and look forward to the next scrimmage in 3 weeks.
