In Person Events

Hi NM FIRST Tech Challenge teams!

I checked today with the folks in Socorro and Alamogordo.  Given the current situation and small number of teams, we are going to go ahead with doing the Robot Game portion of the Socorro (Dec 11) and Alamogordo (Jan 22) Scrimmages as in-person events.  They will be Saturday only single day events.  We will do a remote judging scrimmage in January, possibly the weekend of Jan 8.  There will be no judging in December.

We will work on getting registration up on the website this week.  Currently, I’m planning to set competition fees at a flat $125 to cover both scrimmages and the NM Championship.  All NM FTC teams will be welcome at all three events.   For now, we are limiting participation to only NM teams.

One note – if you plan on staying overnight in Socorro or Alamogordo, you should make cancellable hotel reservations early.  Both places could have availability issues.
