NM FTC Alamogordo Qualifier and upcoming workshops
It’s hard to believe we are already coming up on our first FTC Qualifier of the Centerstage season! Doors will open at Alamogordo High School this Friday at 6PM for team setup. Heather is having a final meeting with the school today so we will have a welcome letter out to you with full instructions by Tuesday evening.
To be allowed compete in this event, it is required that all participating teams:
1) Have two registered Lead Mentors who have completed FIRST‘s Youth Protection Screening and Consent & Release forms. The screening can take a couple days, so don’t wait until the last minute!
2) All students are registered in FIRST’s online system with Consent & Release forms signed off by a parent or guardian. There is a new QR code based express sign-up system for youth that Lead Mentors can access via their Team Dashboard.
3) FIRST registration fees and the $125 NM FTC season participation fee must be paid.
A few teams still need to complete some of these so please login to your FIRST dashboard to confirm you are all set!
