December 17 NM FTC Team Blast

Hi Teams!

Thank you for participating in one or both of our New Mexico FTC Qualifiers!  We look forward to seeing you at the NM FTC Regional Championship in Socorro on Jan 19-20!  As we announced at each qualifier, all teams that participated in one or both NM FTC qualifiers are invited to the NM FTC Regional Championship.  There will be no additional registration fees.  Please register if you intend to participate at:

We will be hosting an online workshop on the Engineering Portfolio this Tuesday, Dec 19 at 6:30 PM.  This workshop will be recorded and posted but we highly recommend you attend it live!  This will be your one chance to ask questions of the judges!  I’ll post and email a reminder & link on Tuesday.

We are working on getting videos from the Albuquerque Qualifier posted.  That video (when uploaded) and our workshop recordings are available on Youtube at

For the regional championship, we will be looking for 5-6 teams willing to do their initial judging interviews on Friday evening. This helps us to shorten the judging process on Saturday and can avoid the delays before the award ceremony!  If you will be here in Socorro Friday evening anyway, please consider doing this! Let us know if your team is willing to do this with the “Contact Us” button above.

Several folks have asked about the Compass & Promote Awards.   We do plan to do those awards for the Championship.  Please plan to submit your videos online by midnight, Jan 10.  I’ll post exact upload instructions as we get closer to the deadline.

We do have Dean’s List nominees.  Those interviews will be held remotely sometime around Jan 8-9.  We’ll work out details with you well before that time.
