Qualifier Registration is Open!

Hello New Mexico FIRST Tech Challenge Teams!

We hope everyone is making good progress on their Robots! We’re about two months out from our first Qualifier in Alamogordo!

We have the Qualifier Registration open on the Website.  Due to upgrades in our website and to comply with FIRST’s updated Data Protection Policies, we have deleted all user accounts from previous seasons.  Instructions for creating your new accounts are below.

The 1^st step is for the lead coach is to go to https://nmftc.org/team-registration/ and register the team starting by entering their team number and then filling in or updating the remaining fields. When asked to select your team number, you will see a list of all FTC teams currently showing as being registered in the New Mexico FTC Region in FIRST’s database. Once you complete that step, it will notify us to approve your registration. Please note that is a manual process on our part, so this approval won’t be immediate! Also, upon registration you will receive an email address confirmation message. Please be sure to follow the instructions in that message to confirm your email (you will not be able to login until your email address is confirmed). If you feel you have not received the confirmation or other messages please check your “SPAM” or “JUNK” email folder. If it is not there you should wait at least 15 minutes to give time for the message to arrive. It is a good idea to whitelist “postmaster@nmftc.org” (usually sending an email to this address will whitelist it) and/or the nmftc.org domain in your email client settings to ensure you receive our email notifications. If you experience technical issues with Team or Event registration, please feel free to open a support ticket with Russ at help@digitalbread.com.

NEW FEATURE: Co-Coaches can now register for their team and perform actions on the team’s behalf such as event registration

The 2^nd step is to register for events here: https://nmftc.org/calendar-of-events/ Only the 2 qualifiers are available for now.  A team associated coach should be logged in to register for an event which has the benefit or prefilling registration fields and displaying the correct cost.  The cost is $200 for the season pass which covers participation in one or both qualifiers as well as advancement to the New Mexico Championship if your team advances.  Once logged in, the form will prefill with your team and coaches’ info (as entered or updated in step 1). You only need to add the second coach’s information (if not there), then click “Register and Pay”.

ADDITIONAL NEW FEATURE: Coaches of multiple teams can now register for each of their teams by first creating your primary team account and then while logged in, revisit the Team Registration form, and register yourself on an additional team, repeat as many times as teams you coach. The same approval process will take place.

This action creates the $200 Season Pass invoice, that has a due by date of Nov 15^th, 2026, and can be paid at this time or later. The invoice will be available in the coach’s account immediately.
