Dec 11 NM FTC Team Blast

A few announcements and reminders:

Portfolio Workshop:  We will be holding a workshop on FTC Portfolios at 6:30PM, Dec 19.  At this point, everyone will have one event under their belts and will be focused on getting their Portfolios ready for the NM FTC Regional Championship.  This session will be recorded for later viewing but we strongly recommend attending live.  This will be your one chance for discussion and questions with our Regional Judge Advisor JP for this season!  I’ll publish a Zoom link closer to the workshop.

Dean’s List:  Dean’s List nominations for this season are due by Midnight, Dec 15.  Each FTC team may nominate one or two students at the sophomore or junior level for this prestigious FIRST award.  Submission is via your team dashboard.

NM FTC Albuquerque Qualifier:  The Albuquerque FTC Qualifier is this Friday & Saturday, Dec 15-16. A few teams still have not registered and/or paid for this event.  This is the last Qualifier of the season to qualify for the Regional Championship.  If you are having problems with registration, payment, or getting your robot going please let us know with the “Contact us” button above or email to nmftcinfo@gmail.com. To help with keeping the event length down on Saturday, we are looking for a few teams at this event willing to do their initial judging on Friday evening instead of Saturday. If your team can do this, please let me know by emailing us at nmftcinfo@gmail.com or using the “Contact Us” button above.  A welcome letter with all event details and a list of participating teams will be published on this blog and emailed to teams by Tuesday morning.
