New Mexico FTC December update

Hello New Mexico FIRST Tech Challenge Teams!

A few quick updates:

1.  All NM FTC teams are invited to participate in the NM Regional Championship at Menaul School in Albuquerque on Feb 7-8, 2025. Teams from outside of the NM FTC region are also welcome to participate under the caveat that, under FIRST rules, you are not eligible for the Inspire award or to advance to Houston from NM. Registration for the NM Championship is now open on the NM FTC website at: Events / Event Registration | NM FTC
2. FIRST has announced that the NM FTC Region does have two advancement slots to Houston.
3. There may also be one or more invitations to one of the new FTC Premier Events. Details on that will be announced in the new year.
4. NM FTC Remote Dean’s list interviews will occur on Feb 4, 2025.  Teams have until 10PM MST on Jan 15th, 2025 to nominate students for this award.  Nomination is via your team dashboard.   See the Dean’s List Nomination Guide for details.       https://www.firstinspires.org/sites/default/files/uploads/resource_library/ftc/deans-list-nomination-guide.pdf
5. We are still working on getting the videos from the judging workshop in Alamogordo posted.  Stay tuned for details in the next couple of weeks.
6. A few teams still need to complete their registration and payment with FIRST. Please verify in your Dashboard that your registration & payment are complete.  You will not be able to compete in our events until this is done.
