NM FTC Important March Scrimmage Update

Hi NM FTC teams!

An update on the March Remote Scrimmage (March 13-19). 

Important Change: Only two teams committed to practice judging which was an indication teams aren’t quite ready for that yet.  JP and I made the decision to postpone the practice judging to the April Scrimmage.  We will be doing competition rounds only for the March scrimmage. We currently have 7 teams registered:

• 10348, Gear Masters
• 14442, Neutrons
• 14571, The Marvels
• 15789, Lovington Robo Cats
• 16159, H.O.T. Squad
• 16265, Enigma
• 18546, Die Krieger Blau

I’ll arrange a Zoom meeting on the afternoon of March 14 to go over the use of the FTC Scoring System to enter your Competition Run Scores.

Also, there’s been questions about distributing buttons, bling, etc.. between teams.  Let’s hold off doing that until the championship in late April when all teams will be participating.  For your planning purposes, there are 13 teams registered in the state and I have told FIRST we will accept up to 5 out of region “orphaned” teams that would not have had the chance to compete.  I don’t know who those are yet.
